Básicamente es un rodillo fluido ultra silencioso y ultra realistas pero que enganchamos directamente la cadena al rodillo prescindiendo de la rueda lo que evita totalmente el desgaste del neumático trasero.

Para estos casos, los rodillos para bicicleta son un excelente complemento y una herramienta simplemente indispensable, que permite llevar todo al siguiente nivel, aumentando equilibrio, resistencia y mejorar su técnica. Este accesorio para bicicleta es una buena alternativa para mantener el rendimiento, el estado físico y la vida sana. Los rodillos los podemos elegir según nuestras necesidades y por sus características. Dentro de ellos podemos encontrar 4 tipos.Magnéticos:

Como su nombre indica son rodillos que funcionan en base a un sistema de resistencia magnética y ventilador que maneja la temperatura, son económicos y pueden acoplar un sistema al manillar para ajustar y modificar resistencias. Son un tanto ruidosos pero una gran alternativa para mantener y mejorar tu entrenamiento.

Fluidos:

Rodillos de resistencias a base de fluidos (aceite), muy silenciosos y de sensación más realista que su hermano magnético, si bien estéticamente son muy parecidos distan mucho en funcionalidad. Este tipo de rodillos no poseen mando al manillar ni resistencias y el control de las mismas son desde la misma bicicleta al variar y utilizar sus cambios.

Transmisión Directa:

Rodillo de Rulos o Roller:

Comúnmente utilizados como rodillos de calentamiento usados popularmente por equipos de pista y en el famosos Red Huck de piñón fijo. Son rodillos que principalmente oponen muy poca resistencia, permiten esprintar, mejorar la técnica y equilibro.

La decisión y elección de un rodillo apropiado pasa principalmente por lo que desees, sus limitaciones y prestaciones. Es un producto altamente funcional y que si se acompaña de un entrenamiento equilibrado puede entregar muchos beneficios físico y técnico.
